AYSO FIELD DIRECTIONS

NOTICE: It is the responsibility of the Region 275 coach to verify directions with the other region's coach. Also, note that we are in the process of linking directly to the regions' websites where possible to improve the accuracy of the directions. Also check Area 5B's and Area 5G's field location directories (there is a map at the end of Area 5B's list that shows the relative locations of that Area's fields).

To make your search easier, regions are organized by region number and are listed in separate cells. Posted travel times are estimates and are based on starting at AYSO275’s Ball Camp fields unless otherwise noted.

Region 124 - Northwest / Powell, HOTLINE: 281-0015

Northwest Middle School

Travel time: approx. 15 minutes

I-75 North to Merchants Road exit. Left onto Merchants Road. Continue through stop light across Clinton Highway. When Merchants Road ends turn left onto Pleasant Ridge Road. Northwest Middle School is immediately on right. Fields begin on the right side of building (as you are facing the building) and continues to the rear of the building.

Powell Middle School

Travel time: approx. 20 minutes

I-75 North to Emory Road exit. Left on Emory Road west. Go approximately 5 miles. Fields and school are on the right. Fields are in front of the school.

Alternate: From Karns, take Emory road east. Turn right on Clinton Hwy, then immediately turn left (remaining on Emory road). Fields and school are on the left about 1/2 mile past Clinton Hwy. Fields are in front of the school.

Region 128 - Pellissippi State Tech. College Fields, HOTLINE: 675-8852

Travel time: approx. 10 minutes

From the East:

From I-40E/I-75S, take Pellissippi Parkway/Oak Ridge Exit (Highway 62) North. Exit Pellissippi Parkway at Hardin Valley Rd. Turn left, then turn right immediately after passing under the parkway onto Solway Road. Park at either end of the field complex. Field 4 is closest to Hardin Valley Road. Field 1 is farthest away. DO NOT PARK ALONG SOLWAY or HARDIN VALLEY ROAD.

From the West:

From I-40W/I-75N, take Pellissippi Parkway/Oak Ridge Exit (Highway 62) North. This is a clover leaf - take the North-bound ramp (you will pass under Pellissippi Pkwy then over I-40/I-75). Exit Pellissippi Parkway at Hardin Valley Rd. Turn left, then turn right immediately after passing under the parkway onto Solway Road. Park at either end of the field complex. Field 4 is closest to Hardin Valley Road. Field 1 is farthest away. DO NOT PARK ALONG SOLWAY or HARDIN VALLEY ROAD.

From Ball Camp Fields:

Turn left out of the parking lot onto Hitching Post Dr. Turn left onto Ball Camp Pike and travel approx. 1/2 mile to Middlebrook Pike. Turn right onto Middlebrook Pike (Middlebrook Pike becomes Hardin Valley Road along this route). In approx. 2.5 miles, turn right immediately after passing under Pellissippi Parkway onto Solway Road. Park at either end of the field complex. Field 4 is closest to Hardin Valley Road. Field 1 is farthest away. DO NOT PARK ALONG SOLWAY or HARDIN VALLEY ROAD.

Region 128 - Watt Road Fields (Mayor Leonard Park)

Travel time: approx. 25 minutes

Exit at Watt Road off of I-40/I-75 at Knox County/Loudon County Line in West Knoxville. Turn south (left) on Watt Road. Go up steep hill. Fields are on right in Mayor Leonard Park. Field 1 is up walk on right. Field 3 is along road. Field 5 and 6 continue on Watt Road to Kingston Pike. Turn right and right again onto Harrison Road at Shell Station.

From East Knoxville:

I-40 West to Cedar Bluff exit. Turn right onto Cedar Bluff Road. Turn left onto Middlebrook Pike (Cedar Bluff Road ends at Middlebrook Pike). Go 2 miles, turn right onto Ball Camp Pike (Ball Camp Elementary School is on the northeast corner of this intersection). After 1/2 mile turn right onto Hitching Post Road (the next marked road past Nicholas Ball Park). NO PARKING ON ROAD.

Alternate Route:

Take Pellissippi Parkway north from I-40/I-75. Take the Lovell Road exit, turning right onto Scheaffer Rd, then left onto Lovell Rd.. Go North 1.8 miles to intersection with Middlebrook Pike (traffic light - Ball Camp Elementary School is on the northeast corner of this intersection). Proceed straight across Middlebrook Pike, at which point Lovell Road becomes Ball Camp Pike. After 1/2 mile turn right onto Hitching Post Road (the next marked road past Nicholas Ball Park). NO PARKING ON ROAD.

From Oak Ridge:

Take Pellissippi Parkway south from Oak Ridge. Take Hardin Valley Road exit. Turn Right (Northeast) onto Hardin Valley Road (you will immediately pass under the parkway; also, Hardin Valley Road becomes Middlebrook Pike along this route). Go 2.5 miles to intersection with Ball Camp Pike (traffic light; Ball Camp Elementary School is on the LEFT). Turn LEFT onto Ball Camp Pike. After 1/2 mile turn right onto Hitching Post Road (the next marked road past Nicholas Ball Park). NO PARKING ON ROAD.

Region 279 - West Knoxville / Bearden / Lakeshore, HOTLINE: 450-9499

Travel time: approx. 20 minutes
