Region 275 has between 850 and 950 kids playing soccer every fall and spring.  As with all AYSO organizations, we are a VOLUNTEER organization.  No one associated directly with the program is paid.  This means coaches, referees, concession stand workers, and Board Members.

We are reaching a crisis stage where only a dozen or so individuals are doing most of the work most of the time.  PLEASE consider volunteering your time and talents to continuing the success story that is AYSO REGION 275!

We have the following needs that need to be filled immediately:

• Volunteer Coordinator.
• Assistant to the Regional Commissioner.
• U6/U8 Assistant Regional Commissioner.
• Referee Scheduler.
• Field Director.
• Assistant Field Director.
• Region Secretary.
• Assistant Registrar.

Also, we have the following needs on a continuing basis:

• Lining fields (putting the paint stripes on)
• Working the concession stand.  ALL PROCEEDS go back into the fields and help keep fees down.
• Weed eating and other general clean-up around the fields.  Feel free to bring your weed-eater to practices and chip in!
• REFEREEING!!  - probably our biggest need.  There may come a day when your game is cancelled because we do not have enough referees!  Each team in divisions 5, 6, and 7 was to have provided 2 parents to serve as Club Line persons to assist a referee during a game.  COACHES - please get your parents involved!
• Coaching - Every team needs a coach.  If we have too few coaches, then kids may have to be turned away from playing.
• Regional Board Members - these are the folks that try their best to keep the place running.  Remember, we all have jobs and families too, yet most of us put in many, many extra hours each week for YOUR children.  Board members typically serve a three year term.  We are always looking for potential fresh talent to serve on the board.
